Shakespeare’s Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed , was built on the south bank of the River Thames in 1997 , Features Wrights of Lymm Gold Leaf gilded on the Theatres columns.
