Resident artist Nigel gilding two oriental dancing figures in Port Meirion

Port Meirion in North Wales, what an idyllic place, so unique with such a close knit community that take pride in their village.  It was a pleasure watching on Tuesday evening on ITV, The Village, a series of a year in the life of a village keeping the magic alive. We saw Resident artist Nigel taking on the job of gilding two oriental dancing figures placed in Port Meirion.  Nigel was using Wrights of Lymm’s well known in the trade “Lymmit Gold Size”, along with genuine gold transfer leaf to create such a wonderful transformation.  You can find below a link to this incredible village and the talent of local artist Nigel
